Josh Niblett FBC/OTA

Camps

Josh Niblett Football Camp is a three-day camp that will teach the basics of the skill positions to young players as well as refine experienced players’ skills. Camp costs $100 if you register by May 9th, $125 if you register by May 22nd, $150 if you register anytime thereafter.

The Camp fee per student includes all instruction and a camp T-shirt. Extra T-shirts will be available for sale. We’ll provide plenty of water throughout the Camp. Campers may bring a snack.

Description

This camp is an intermediate experience that will specialize on an athlete’s position-specific skills. Each athlete will choose one offensive and one defensive position. Throughout the camp they’ll be given instruction in that specific area, allowing for more specialized technique work for each athlete.

Location:

Camp will be held at the Hoover High School Athletic Fields.

In this Camp, athletes will be given instruction in all areas of the sport of football. They’ll have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of various offensive and defensive positions, as well as punting and kicking skills. The value of teamwork and benefits of competition will be stressed. Sportsmanship and a good attitude will also be emphasized.

The Youth Camp runs from 8:30–11:30 a.m., Monday through Wednesday. Although camps are at the same time, K-grade 4 will be kept separate from grades 5 and 6.
